Determined to make a good impression on The Little Red Haired Girl, Charlie Brown does his best to gain her attention in the “The Peanuts Movie.”

Of course, knowing his history--the Charles M. Schulz Peanuts comic strip celebrates its 65th anniversary this year--there's no shortage of calamity and failure for unlucky Charlie Brown.

But things may be different this time around in his fifth full-length feature, Charlie Brown tells Made in Hollywood. "I stand behind this movie 100%. I promise laughs--I promise love," he explains. "I’m excited that this movie gives me the chance to turn things around and prove that things always don’t go wrong for me."

Joined by his gang of famous characters, including his trusted pet pooch Snoopy, the "Peanuts" kids get a splashy 3D makeover for a new generation--the first Peanuts film in nearly 35 years.

"The Peanuts Movie" opens Friday.
