Hello, new Angels!

A reboot of "Charlie's Angels" directed by Elizabeth Banks has officially cast its three leads: Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott ("Power Rangers"), and Ella Balinska ("Midsomer Murders"). Banks herself is set to play their handler Bosley.

The reboot follows the next generation of crime-fighting private detectives. The franchise began as an ABC television series in 1976 starring Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith and then jumped to the big screen in 2000 with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu.

The Townsend Agency has grown considerably and gone global, providing security and intelligence services to a variety of private clients with offices and highly trained teams worldwide. This film focuses on one of those teams.

This marks Stewart's first return to blockbuster movies since "Snow White and the Huntsman." In recent years, she's focused on small indies like "The Clouds of Sils Maria" and "Personal Shopper."

Scott played the Pink Ranger in "Power Rangers" and is set to star as Jasmine in Disney's live-action remake of "Aladdin." Balinska is a relative newcomer.

"Charlie's Angels" is slated for release September 27, 2019.
