As his comments during the press tour for "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" have proven, Chris Pratt is no stranger to scatological humor. So it should come as no surprise, then, that the star dedicated a portion of his Generation Award acceptance speech at the MTV Movie & TV Awards to some bathroom-related wisdom.

Pratt, who was announced as the recipient of the night's highest honor last month, used his platform as the crowd's self-declared "elder" to speak directly to "the next generation," offering nine points of advice. While his speech didn't stretch nearly into his previously promised 45 minutes, it did veer off into delightfully odd and disparate directions, at some points hitting the hilarious, then suddenly, the heartfelt.

The actor, a devout Christian, dedicated a decent chunk of time to encouraging his fans to learn how to pray and explore their own faith. But those remarks were also buffered by some tips on how to get away with pooping at a party undetected.

Our favorite bit of advice, though, came early in his speech, and also included a bit of potty-related language:

"Don't be a turd. If you're strong, be a protector, and if you're smart, be a humble influencer. Strength and intelligence can be weapons -- do not wield them against the weak. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than than."

Truly, words to live by.
