Dragons and wolves make one formidable team.

The first footage from the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" debuted in an HBO teaser for its 2019 slate, which aired during the Golden Globes. And the brief snippet for the fantasy epic featured a very important meeting between two badass women: Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).

The two eye each other somewhat warily before Sansa says, "Winterfell is yours, your grace."

In the Season 7 finale, Daenerys was traveling on a ship with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) northward to amass their forces against the invading horde of White Walkers led by the Night King. He had agreed to bend the knee to her as rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms in exchange for her help. They also gave into their mutual attraction to each other — but neither knows the truth about their relationship, that Daenerys is Jon's aunt.

Meanwhile, at Winterfell, Sansa made her mark as Lady of Winterfell by teaming up with sister Arya (Maisie Williams) to deliver justice to the conniving Littlefinger.

The promo also featured sneak peeks at "True Detective" Season 3, the new "Watchmen" series,  "Veep," and "Big Little Lies" Season 2.

"Game of Thrones" Season 8 premieres in April.
