Two new faces will battle zombies in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 4: Garret Dillahunt and Jenna Elfman have joined the AMC drama as series regulars.

Details about their roles are still being kept hush-hush, but Dillahunt is a longtime fan of "The Walking Dead" and lobbied for the role of Negan, which went to Jeffrey Dean Morgan. At the time, he tweeted, "If not Negan, then something else someday." And he got it!

Dillahunt most recently appeared in the now-concluded final season of "The Mindy Project." Elfman is best known for her lead role in "Dharma and Greg," and has shuffled through various short-lived series in the last few years.

The actors are coming on board after a bit of a reset for the show. Season 3 saw the deaths of Cliff Curtis' Travis and Mercedes Mason's Ofelia. There's been a changing of the showrunner guard, as well: Dave Erickson, who developed the spinoff with "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman, departed after Season 3 and is being replaced by Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg ("Once Upon a Time").

Rumors are floating that the show's location is moving to Houston, a development hinted at in the finale. And that could set up the original/spinoff crossover that Kirkman teased at New York Comic Con. It's possible that Michael Cudlitz could return as Abraham, who would be living in Houston with his family in the "Fear the Walking Dead" timeline.
