Luke Skywalker's face isn't on the poster and isn't in the trailer, sending conspiracy theorists into a frenzy over Mark Hamill will be the villain in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Who better to clear all this up, then, than the director, J.J. Abrams.

“It’s no accident," Abrams tells the Associated Press this week of the missing Luke in the promotional materials. He adds: “These are good questions to be asking. I can’t wait for you to find out the answers.”

Well, okay then. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," returning Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Leia and maybe Hamill as Skywalker, opens in the United States on Dec. 18. Advance tickets are already on sale.
