'Roseanne' Revival Trailer Debuts During Oscars: 'I Thought You Were Dead!'

Dan Conner: "Why does everybody always think I'm dead?"

The 2018 Oscars aired on ABC, so the network used the opportunity to promote some new trailers. One of those trailers was for the highly anticipated "Roseanne" revival, which premieres Tuesday, March 27.

OG stars Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Michael Fishman (DJ), Lecy Goranson (Becky), and Sarah Chalke are all returning -- with a one-episode cameo from Johnny Galecki. (They found a clever way to include both Beckys.)

The trailer cheekily references Dan Conner's death in the original series run, even more directly than the previous promos.

Watch the trailer: The 2018 "Roseanne" revival will launch with a special hour-long episode at 8 p.m. on March 27. The show will move into its regular half-hour 8 to 8:30 timeslot starting Tuesday, April 3.
