Meanwhile, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro wants fans to STAHP blaming him.

Jerzdays are back starting this week for the April 5 premiere of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation." The original cast is returning, except for Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola.

When it was first revealed that Sammi was skipping the reunion, a "source" told Us Weekly a "big reason" for her absence was "because she didn't want to be around Ronnie." It was assumed that she didn't want to do anything that might mess up her current relationship, with boyfriend Christian Biscardi.

Well, fast-forward several months, and Sammi set the record straight herself with a post on Instagram. As expected, her primary reason for blowing off the "Family Vacation" is because she's in a very different non-"toxic" place in her life now:

Good for her. It's probably not a coincidence that the words "toxic situations" and "next!" are enlarged. Many fans are disappointed that Sammi won't be with the OG crew, but others are proud of her for making such a healthy decision. As one wrote, "This is an amazing example of self care and self love!"

For the record, Ronnie told Us Weekly it's not his fault Sammi won't be on the show:

"We started this all together and I would have loved to have finished it together because now everyone thinks it's because of me she didn't come back, but it's because she has a boyfriend."

Sammi and Ron were on-and-off for years, breaking up for good in 2014. (The photo at top is from 2013).

"Jersey Shore Family Vacation" premieres Thursday, April 5 at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
