Good news: Marvel's only female Avenger, Black Widow, finally got her own movie! The bad news? It's a rom-com, and it's a fluffy piece of Hollywood schlock (that I'd probably watch on Netflix when no one else is around).

"Saturday Night Live," along with hostess with the mostess Scarlett Johansson, aimed its satirical arrow right at the Achilles heel of Marvel Cinematic Universe: it's notable lack of female-led movies and woefully off-kilter, male-heavy casts. Did they hit a bullseye? Sort of. It's not the funniest entry in the SNL canon, but it still hits a few high notes, lampooning the very tired rom-com genre, Thor's sexuality, and, well, robotic penises.
