Money is the name of the game in the "The Hummingbird Project" — and this game is one that Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgard intend to win big.

In the trailer for the financial thriller, the actors play cousins who engage in high frequency trading, where millions can be made or lost in milliseconds. They scheme to build a fiber-optic cable straight line between Kansas and New Jersey to give them an edge on their competitors.

But breathing down their necks is their old boss (Salma Hayek), a powerful and manipulative trader who intends to beat them at their own game.

The film comes from writer/director Kim Nguyen and debuted at last fall's Toronto International Film Festival, where it was received warmly.

"The Hummingbird Project" opens in limited release March 15.
