If you liked "A Christmas Prince," Netflix's upcoming "The Princess Switch" doubles down on holiday romance.

As the title implies, the plot involves the old switcheroo, when the buttoned-up, elegant Duchess Margaret (Vanessa Hudgens) swaps places with her identical lookalike, Stacy, a baker from Chicago. The former just wants to experience life out of the spotlight, while the latter's Christmas wish is to fall in love.

Of course, hijinks and shenanigans ensue, especially when they're dealing with love interests Sam Palladio ("Nashville") and Nick Sagar ("Queen of the South"). Cue playful snowball fights and dreamy waltzes. But it's just a matter of time before their deception is revealed to all.

Netflix has been serious about reviving the romantic comedy genre this year (see: "To All the Boys I've Loved Before"). But its venture into the holiday romance territory once dominated by Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel really began last year, with "A Christmas Prince" — which is getting a sequel this winter, "A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding."

"The Princess Switch" begins streaming November 16 on Netflix.
