The world is truly an animal kingdom in "Zootopia," Disney Animation's next big project.

The studio released the first teaser trailer for the movie, which features anthropomorphic creatures — a term that narrator Jason Bateman very cleverly explains. They walk, they talk, they wear clothes. Human beings don't exist.

There's not much else to glean from the trailer, but it sets up and defines the parameters of its animated world in succinct, somewhat corny, but totally cute fashion."Zootopia" is a buddy comedy about a con artist fox (Bateman) who is framed for a crime he didn't commit. He teams up with a by-the-book bunny cop (Ginnifer Goodwin) to solve the case and clear his name.

It has the potential to be another hit for Disney Animation, which has been killing it in the last couple of years with "Frozen" and "Big Hero 6."

"Zootopia" opens in theaters March 16.
