Challengers take on Memphis-style barbecue.
4. Royal Ribs & Burnt Ends
The competition goes to the World Series of Barbecue in Kansas City, Mo., where three teams battle to become champion.
5. Carolina’s Divine Swine Cook Off
North Carolina has one of the oldest BBQ traditions in the country. Zach Goodyear of Sauceman's BBQ, Debbie Holt of Clyde Cooper's Barbecue, and Sam Jones of Skylight Inn BBQ Restaurant compete to see who is BBQ Pitmasters North Carolina Champion.
6. Bluegrass, Bourbon & BBQ
Kentucky has one of the most delicious BBQ traditions in the South. John Foreman of Old Hickory Bar-B-Que Restaurant, Roy Henry of Henry's Boogalou BBQ, and Mike Ramage of Still Smokin' BBQ compete for the title of BBQ Pitmasters Kentucky Champion.
7. Father Vs. Son
BBQ PITMASTERS judge, Myron Mixon and his son, Michael, are traveling America's barbecue circuit together, checking out the country's most revered BBQ joints, and most importantly, going head-to-head in a father/son cooking rivalry that will rock the roots of BBQ nation...or at least the Mixon family tree.
