Perfume approaches the Kompira-san's greatest treasure "Hyakka-zu" in ultra-high definition 3DCG! What are the historical mysteries and deep thoughts hidden in the unprecedented flower room created by the genius painter of Edo period, Jakuchu Ito?
4. Jomon Period dugout canoe
A series that uncovers the mysteries of history through its greatest treasures. An ultra-high definition CG reproduction of a Jomon-era wooden boat. The Jomon people, who could be said to be a people of the sea, rowed out to the open sea. We even get closer to the unknown spirituality of the people.
5. Van Gogh Sunflower
Perfume uses 3DCG to reveal the mystery of Van Gogh's masterpiece "Sunflowers". From angles and details not usually seen, Van Gogh's personality and his thoughts on this work will be revealed.
6. Kuya Shonin Standing Statue
Three members of Perfume admire a statue of Kuya Shonin, a monk of the Heian period (Important Cultural Property). Through close observation of the statue in high-definition 8K 3DCG, the mystery of the small giant who brought about a revolution in religion is explored.
7. Funabashi maki-e inkstone box
The color, shape, and design of the Funabashi maki-e inkstone box, a national treasure, are all full of surprises, and when Perfume explores the details and unravels its mysteries... they make a surprising discovery!
8. Haniwa Armored Warrior
Perfume's 3DCG approach to the mystery of the national treasure haniwa terra-cotta tomb figurine "keiko no bujin" (warrior in keiko armor). What in the world was it made for? The unknown connection with the continent and the coloring of the figure are also revealed.
9. The Best Selection
This is a special edition of the series that uses ultra-high definition computer graphics to uncover the mysteries of cultural properties. The three Perfume members will also present their favorite treasures!
10. National Treasure Hayaraigo
In this program, Perfume, navigated by Hikaru Ijuin, will explore the secrets of the national treasure "Amida 25 Bosatsu Raigo-zu (Early Arrival and Departure)" at Chion-in Temple in Kyoto, Japan. Why do the Buddhas fly at an angle? It is related to the teachings of Honen Shonin, who taught that one could go to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss by chanting "Namu Amidabutsu," and the "salvation" sought by the people of the Kamakura period.
11. National Museum of Science Specimen
Mysterious creature over 6 meters long? A human skull, a mysterious animal in a bottle! Perfume, navigated by Naoki Tanaka, unravels the mysteries from selected specimens in the National Museum of Nature and Science's collection.
