The first time I learned about this movie was on Chinese news channel. Funny thing was that the same day earlier I saw Sylvia Chang (the lead actress in the movie) in a Chinese restaurant in LA. Had... I known she made such a bad movie, I would've stopped her at the restaurant and gave her a first lesson on being Asian American. This movie enhances the bad Chinese American family stereotypes and more. A mistreated Chinese women was rescued by a Mexican stud from her miserable life and grant her true happiness? Gosh guys, how backward is it? I saw the interview with the director Frank Lin on Chinese news, and it really made me believe that he's simply not a very smart guy. This movie is made by a simple-minded, naive guy, and possibly gay. Just my two cents. Full Review
