One of the best movies I have ever watched. Funny, sad, exciting, this moviie has it all. Great acting by Rudy and all the cast.
An outstanding work. Mel Gibson's masterpiece. Not for those with anxiety over violent displays, however. Aggression-phobics will find it distasteful. Explores the essence of human personality without... the overlay of artificial, culturally-imposed, refinement. If you realistically accept aggression as an immutable aspect of nature you will be able to appreciate this film as a masterwork. See BMW15AE's user's review. Full Review
Apocalypto,. I was traveling overseas when I aw it. At least half a dozen times. It became more profound and spiritually insightful, with each viewing.
It feels like something is gripping your throat and won't let go. It dosn't hurt though. That is how much it has you at the edge of your seat. From many unpredictable and heart-racing scenes to short... quiet and content ones, this is truly a masterpeice. Gibson's fascinating story showing you a world before Columbus, a world where people follow the Earths natural cycle and let the environment do it's own thing. Full Review
