So slow and boring...
Great movie. I was on the edge of my seat for the whole second half. It was made so well I felt like I was watching actual, real documentary footage rather than a movie.
This was a great movie and I enjoyed every single minute. If I could give it more stars I would. I will no doubt be seeing this movie again in the future.
Yep, this is a good one!!!
It's important to for Americans to know that Affleck grossly distorted the events depicted in this film. Jimmy Carter said yesterday that the rescue was \"90% Canadian\" and the CIA played a very minor role. The hollywood part, the runway scene, the id'ing the Americans? Bogus. It's a lie.

Ultimately, the thrill of Argo is in watching how the illusion-making of movies found such an unlikely application on the world political stage, where the stakes were literally life and death. Full Review

The main source of astonishment is the precision exhibited everywhere, from the slyly vintage look of Rodrigo Prieto's cinematography to the gradual, cinching tension in Chris Terrio's careful screenplay. Full Review

This captivating, expertly machined political thriller jumps through every hoop the naysayer can set up: It's serious and substantive, an ingeniously written and executed drama fashioned from a fascinating, little-known chapter of recent history. Full Review

Finally, a voice-over from Jimmy Carter, lauding the efforts of those involved. All this is, frankly, uncool - a pity, because the rest of Argo feels clever, taut, and restrained. Full Review
