This movie totally ruined the books for me. now when i read them i will picture the dork with the worst southern accent. They made the movie with the idea of the story not the book. Casting was all wrong in all characters, terrible acting. waste of time and money.
I haven't looked forward to a movie like this in a long time - and WHAT a disappointment. If you have read the series - DO NOT see the movie. It will just make you mad. I was SO angry by the end of the movie. If you can't stay true to the book characters - don't make the movie at all. FAIL
Talking the plot saved the budget .
Beautiful Creatures is one of the movies with the best chemistry between two lead stars that I have ever seen. A fabulous cast with fabuou acting including Viola Davis, Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons, Emmy Rossum, Eileen Atkins and others. The script is excellent, moving and touching.
