Such an excellent movie that takes someone who appreciates realism in cenema to apprciate. Both charactrs were loving, angry and sad, all at... t times as wll as at the same tim in diffrnt parts. Although both had thir moments of sincr hope, their lies were going nowhre and wr hopeful, thir livs wr going nowhere. Story and characters so realistic that I can understand why many iewers were uncomfortable. Full Review

A carefully rendered portrait of messy, imperfect people in search of perfecting love and the disappointment that inevitably results. As candid and... gonizing as Scenes from a Marriage. Gosling and Williams are terrific. Full Review

This was the worst P.O.S. that I have seen in a long time. I used to be a HUGE fan of Ryan Gosling, now after watching this I wonder if he's in his... right mind to have accepted this boring 'trailer trash' acting job. I have always wanted to like Michelle Williams, I put up with Wendy & Lucy because of the reviews led me to believe this was a great indie movie. That movie along with this dissappointment makes her my least favorite actress and I will ********* her future movies since I believe she has poor judgemnt to pick out roles. Her criteria seems to be: a role that doesn't make me brush my hair, I will be taken advantage of and I will look depressed and as sloppy as possible while delivering terrible predictable lines. give me a break...starting a film with angelic child calling for her lost dog...and it only goes down from there.
