This is a great stop motion animated movie that i could 20 more times and still be entertained.
no offence to some of you who say this movie is risky for kids but at least the movie movie is not that bad compared to some of the other PG movies like deja vu or precious. those movies are really really rough :l and besides not all PG movies are bad for kids :)
This movie is excellent i love the claymation & the acting is great I saw this movie like 3 times & I love it by the way the director's & writter's are amazing GREAT GREAT Job!
Uhm, to clear things up, I don't know where you guys are getting "Tim Burton" from. Tim Burton did NOT, I repeat NOT direct this movie. Go look in the credits. It was HENRY SELICK. Thought you ought to know.
This movie definitely had a darker side to it that actually scared me for a ************* that dark side that actually made the movie interesting though. Overall, good movie but in lousy 3-D. Keep it original movie producers. I don't like wearing 3-D glasses when watching movies because I already wear glasses myself. Otherwise, good story. Little kids may get little scared from watching

Coraline lingers in an atmosphere that is creepy, wonderfully strange and full of feeling. Full Review

Coraline is a plucky heroine, and director Selig's imagination is indisputable. But the story falters in parts, and its dark tone could be off-putting for children. Full Review

Moment by moment, the film is a font of pleasures, yet there's something about it that keeps the audience at an aesthetic remove. Like Coraline in the doppelgänger world, we swoon over all the neat stuff without ever making ourselves at home. Full Review

For all its visual delights, however, Coraline remains more an engaging spectacle than a connective drama. That is chiefly because of the writing. Director-writer Henry Selick doesn't reach for the kind of universality that would enrich the movie. Full Review

The film has been crafted with a consideration that the best family movies appeal not only to a young target audience but to the parents who accompany their offspring to theaters. Full Review
