Simply one of the best movies of the 80s. Really captured the 80's as well as any. The only one to rival this movie is \"Vally Girl\". Only Ridgemont had Phoebe Cates! She was the subject of many boy's as well as MEN's dreams! The soundtrack rates as one of the best ever. What a GREAT FLASH BACK TO MY MORE SIMPLER & FUN TIME OF MY LIFE!

This movie is so much how it really was to be in High School in 1982.I was part of the Jeff Spicoli clique with the innocence of Stacy when it came to dating. The only movie that is even close to my top 10 during that time is\" Valley Girl\" with Nicholas Cage!! Oh one more thing, I still think Vans are Awesome and Love the Beach!!
