I love this movie but whoever wrote the plot review for this movie has obviously never watched it. This movie won the Academy Award for Best Story... d Screenplay. The one thing the plot reviewer is that Cary Grant played against him image as a drunken, unshaven, unkempt sailing bum. He is forced to \"volunteer\" to be a \"*************\", someone who watched for Japanese activity in the south Pacific under control of Australia. He's stranded on a small, uninhabited island and to get him to cooperate with the **************, they hide his liquor throughout the island. He gets one bottle for every confirmed sighting. Then along comes Leslie Caron as a prim nanny/tutor for 7 girls who get stranded on the island as well. I saw this movie with my mom when I was a kid at a drive-in. I still enjoy it since I do have it on DVD. If you've never seen this movie, check it out. Full Review
