I really enjoyed this movie!
I'm not sure why would people give 5 stars for a movie like this...oh well, guess different people have different taste in movies. I mean it wasn't... the worst movie I've seen but it certain doesn't deserve 4 or 5 stars. It's just one of those movie you watch to kill time. It has very predictable story line. I feel bad for Colin Farrell that he now has to make a movie like this.... Full Review
I loved them both. They were cool and the people in them also. Would they remake part two?
Very impressed with the updated story. Not completely a redo of the old one.. has some new bits to the plot. Colin Farrell is sexy, subtle, scary.... ke I think a vampire would be-- no messin around.... Why do they ALWAYS have the vampire making a huge bloody mess-- you do NOT waste the precious fluid ... hehhehheh Full Review
Loved it. It was like going to the movie as a kid. Funny, with just the right amount of scares. I don't like al the slasher type movies but this is... more like the old fashion horror movie of legend and folklore, updated to make it feel like you where a pat of it. Full Review

It stands apart from the rehash pack by accomplishing something rival remakes rarely do: It improves on the premise it has been handed, producing a modernized version of a decades-old story that's superior to its predecessor in virtually every aspect.Full Review
As in the earlier film, this one dances always at the edge of comedy. It especially has fun with the Rules of Vampire Behavior.Full Review
Fright is way too quick on its feet to be slowed by clichés. David Tennant seizes McDowall's role as Peter Vincent, now a Criss Angel-style clown vampire slayer. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was born to play a high school nerd.Full Review
The remake isn't openly nostalgic. In a sense, this is another sexy vampire movie. But Farrell does something special with the sexuality: It's simultaneously omnivorous, dangerous, and a hoot.Full Review
Fright Night isn't quite a classic vampire movie, but it's refreshingly straightforward and self-deprecating.Full Review
