I am sick of all the Torture movies that are out and all their sequels trying to pass themselves off as "horror pics". This is a great movie that any... True Horror Fan will appreciate, You have to look for the cameos but you will find all the Horror hall of famers in this one. From Freddy to the Candyman they are here which speaks to me that Green has the blessings of the Horror Gods... A Definite must see if you ever told anyone that you like scary movies. Full Review

This horror comedy is loaded with decapitations, bodies torn in two and spewing blood, and yet, unlike the grim, torture-filled gore-fests of late, Hatchet's mayhem is so giddily over-the-top that you end up applauding the low-budget aplomb of it all.Full Review

Joel David Moore leads a cast full of token minorities and bickering bimbos, whom writer-helmer Adam Green dispatches with knowing glee and an obvious love for genre conventions that almost overcomes the derivative scripting.Full Review
