After a few queasy moments at its midpoint, the trajectory of In a Better World becomes so relentlessly platitudinous that an audience that ought to feel seriously rattled will be settling back, feeling comfortably reassured. show more

One of the best films of the year. Everything is top notch: the acting, writing and directing. It\'s a film about revenge, and how far we should go when someone takes advantage of us. This film definitely deserved the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. Highly recommended.
