On the outside, Killer Elite seems to be an awesome action flick with an amazing cast and it being based on the true story of Danny Bryce. But on the... inside, its not that great. It has no main conflict really and it is basically another Jason Statham movie. Blood, Sex, and Violence are the keywords in this film. I was dissapointed about about all these flaws in this movie. A solid action movie - A solid spy-action set-up with just the right amount of DeNiro. A great Spy-twister with a limited backstory, but enough... on to make up for the difference. Well worth the $6 On-Demand! Statham and Owen make this an enjoyable action bit, while seeing DeNiro in a slightly more subdued, although still exciting, role is just what the Dr. ordered.
