Special kudos to Freeman, who kills it on the dance floor and later while drunk off his ass on vodka and Red Bull. You'll groan as much as howl at the jokes, but the veteran stars have a ball acting their age. Even when all else fails them, they're good company. show more

Although formulaic in design and programmed to meet its quota of laughs, the film makes a point of going beyond basic expectations into some legitimate aspects of mature friendships without getting soggy about it. show more
Loved it. As someone else said, no killing and beatings, just fun to watch. It was predictable but so what. The only thing I couldn't quite understand was the guy who came to the party door and he refused him and told the bouncer to watch out for him. I couldn't connect it to anything else. I wondered if something was cut but they forgot that piece. Always wonder how the actors feel when their life has some similarity. Douglas's actual wife I think is 30+ years younger.
Excellent movie. Reminded me of my best friends from high school. Well scripted, and expertly acted. Very enjoyable.
I just saw the movie last night. I thought it was carefully scripted and these veteran actors nailed it! So funny and I was so happy not to see blood, gore, car chases and graphic sex.
