I'm reading all these positive reviews, and can't believe we all saw the same movie. It was totally stupid, and thank God I just saw it at the $1.50 show. This movie was made for 13 year olds to enjoy.

If you accept the premise that all that computer mumbo-jumbo can be done and so easily, then you are in for a great movie ride. It is everything you can expect from a "Die Hard" movie and more. Bruce is at his best, in action and you'll laugh out loud in parts.

At a time when the action genre has come to be dominated by sleek, matte surfaces and set-'em-and-forget-'em computerized effects, Live Free or Die Hard seeks to remind viewers of the simple, nostalgic pleasures of watching stuff get blown up and bad guys get smoked. Full Review

Diverting enough if you want to see plenty of fast-paced action sequences, some heart-stopping chase scenes and plenty of things blow up. Full Review

Though the movie's at least 20 minutes too long, it's deeply satisfying, full of old-school buddy banter and the kind of action sequences that make you burst out laughing at their sheer audacity. Full Review

Take away Bruce Willis and this is straight-to-video material. Full Review

Criminally short on laughs as it tries to wring humor from dull activity by dim bulbs. Full Review
