Elizabeth Weitzman New York Daily News

Despite the filmmakers' desperate attempts to scandalize us, the only real shock is that a movie this disastrous ever managed to get made. show more

    Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter

Despite the dizzying array of talent involved both in front of and behind the camera, this godawful exercise is so painfully unfunny, so screamingly bad that it immediately qualifies as one of the worst films of all time. show more

    Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post

Movie 43 is a near masterpiece of tastelessness. The anthology of 12 short, interconnected skits elevates the art form of gross-out comedy to a new height. show more

    Ty Burr Boston Globe

The line between gross-out humor that's inspired and the kind that's witless is fine indeed, and Movie 43 obliterates it with poop and movie stars. show more

    Roger Moore Movie Nation

About a third of the short films land a few laughs. But even the weakest material is lifted by the actors. show more

    Chicago Sun-Times

There's camp-fun bad and interestingly horrible bad, and then there's just awful. Movie 43 is the "Citizen Kane" of awful. show more

    Lou Lumenick New York Post

If you mashed-up the worst parts of the infamous "Howard the Duck,'' "Gigli,'' "Ishtar'' and every other awful movie I've seen since I started reviewing professionally in 1981, it wouldn't begin to approach the sheer soul-sucking badness of the cringe-inducing Movie 43. show more

    Slant Magazine

This is barely a movie at all, mostly due to its structural similarities to "SNL", but also because it acknowledges the fact that its own premises are inherently unfilmable. show more

    Peter Bradshaw The Guardian

Movie 43 is sketchy, in every sense. It's a collection of short comedy films in the manner of the 70s cult classic "Kentucky Fried Movie," each with a separate director, in which many very famous actors have been persuaded to take part. show more

I was laughing the whole time. It was good to see well known actors letting them selves show there funny side. most of them would never star in a comedy. good movie for laughs not for serious viewing. If your seriously reviewing this move of award winning roles ur F*$&%in wrong!

i joined for the sole reason to rate this movie. This was the single worst movie I have ever seen. Appeared as they were sitting in someones garage, drinking beer, talking about funny one liners, and then tried to make a movie from them.

3 1/2 stars really. I could hardly believe that so many famous celebrities let themselves be a part of such a gross movie. But I guess I respect them more for not taking themselves too seriously. Anyway, I laughed a lot.

Worst movie ever. Ar least 50 people walked out and got their money back. Must have been written by 10 year olds.

Using the Alfred E. Newman 5-flush rating system, this movie deserves at least 4 flushes; just short of of the movie Ted which earned the full 5 flushes.

This movies was terrible. As much as I like all the actors seen in this movie, the skits were just plain stupid. Yes, they were offensve and disgusting, but I am NOT easily offended. I gave it one star not because I was offended (I wasn\'t) but because it was just plain BAD, and a phenomenal waste of my time

Just say \"NO\" this was horrible, there aren\'t sufficient words to describe how terrible this movie was. I want my money back plus some! Some people did leave, wish I would have been one of them...thought it couldn\'t get worse, but it could and did.

First of all this isn\'t a true movie it\'s a big screen attempt at skit shows like funny or die. Just like SNL not every skit works with every viewer. I found the humor crude but laughable. If you are easily offended stick to the animated Pixar movies this one is for adults Lighten up & have a laugh
