I LOVED the movie. I FINALLY saw it. Growing up in NC and frequenting the coast a lot when I was a child, I never knew there was a real Rodanthe. I... ooked it up and my husband told me if I found it...he would take me there. It looks so calming and peaceful. Gotta love a good love story. Full Review

WARNING: Don't read below my review unless you want this movie ruined by fools giving away the movie! I loved this movie and it was great to see... hard Gere and Diane Lane paired together again (if you haven't seen them in Unfaithful, rush out and grab it now!). If you love romance, don't hesitate to watch this movie!!! Full Review

Hardly groundbreaking, but for those with an appetite for an increasingly rare gust of unapologetic romance, well, as they say, any port in a storm.Full Review

Once a hurricane blows Gere and Lane into each other's arms, all the director's tasteful style and good sense turn into mush. Given the material, I suppose it has to.Full Review

What really sells this three-hanky tear-jerker -- and there were a lot of women buying it during a recent screening -- is Lane's steely and vulnerable performance. Like Tinker Bell, she almost made me believe in fairies. Almost.Full Review
