This was the best movie I have watched in years, it is 100% family! and shows the real meaning of Christmas . I can't wait until it comes out on DVD . I would go watch it again. I loved it. Need more movies like this!!!

I loved this movie - beautifully filmed, beautifully acted - incredible message. I wish movies like this were in wider release so more people would be able to see them.

What a great movie. It's nice to be able to go to a movie that makes you feel good inside. They actually talked of Jesus & God, family values and chatracter. Something alien to the majority of the other offerings listed on the marque.

There are star names in the cast – Sylvester McCoy, John Hannah, Samantha Barks – but ultimately the film rests on Boyle, who sadly has all the acting nuance of a Speak N’ Spell. Full Review

Its hopelessly stodgy execution will test the patience of even the most enthusiastic audiences for faith-based films. Full Review

This odd Dickens-meets-Sunday-school movie is as artless as the setup is muddled. Full Review

Ultimately, this throwback, made-for-TV-style film takes the easy way out in a cheesy climax, but its resolute quaintness may appeal to the kind of viewers who regard electricity as disturbingly newfangled. Full Review
