The Truman Show is a fantastic movie and shows a real point in life. When you walk into the store, there is cameras watching you almost EVERYWHERE and you could be picking your nose! It seems that the Truman Show is so alternative from the mainstream that the audiences are stunned and agitated at the first sight. Yet, it is no more than a small portrait of reality. Just as the movie Dead Poets Society, director Peter Weir shows the provocative idea of breaking the convention and think of things in a higher stage.
