A baby giraffe DIED during the making of this film. If all the profits from this death flick don't go to animal rescue groups, SHAME on all involved. F these bastards! NOT ONE PENNY for non-human animal exploitation. They are not someTHINGS, they are someBODIES.
Pretty nice movie. Alright to watch it at home on a Sunday maybe
This movie is great! I am 24 and have a young sence of humor. It kept my fiance and I rolling the whole time. It is great to guess all of the stars who are playing the animals! Will own when out on dvd!!! 2 thumbs up.
Good for kids; ridiculous for adults. Much better than The Smurfs, though.
it was a great movie kids and abults would love it

Ultimately, it's a marketing pitch in search of a movie that proves punishingly flat. Full Review

The film would be a moth-eaten mess without the wisecracking animals. Not that it's funny with them. Full Review

As for other voices, the most notable are Adam Sandler, whose capuchin monkey wears out his welcome pretty quickly; Maya Rudolph, whose jivey giraffe comes perilously close to aural blackface; and Nick Nolte's gorilla. Full Review

As far as complete wastes of time go, Zookeeper is not especially offensive. Yet it is surprising that everything you might expect to be charming in it just isn't - namely all the bits involving animals. Full Review
