The Stooges were always better in short doses. And 90 minutes of PG nyuk-nyuk-nyuk can seem like an eternity. show more

It's just not enough to say that The Three Stooges is the death of comedy. Rather, it's the death, burial, putrefaction and decomposition of comedy. It is where comedy, once alive, ends up as dust blowing in the wind, like something out of a really bad Kansas song. show more

Pop culture references intermingle with the loopy trio's iconic foolishness, and the result is a movie with some big laughs, plenty of heart and terrible coifs. show more

Stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Will Sasso and Sean Hayes are on the money as Moe, Curly and Larry in a film containing more plot and sentiment than the boys' shorts ever had. show more

Bobby and Peter Farrelly's The Three Stooges is not particularly great, though it is possibly brilliant, a picture that goes beyond homage to become its own rambunctious invention - it's one big eye-poke, with footnotes. show more

After what seems like an eternity of inanity and incompetence in the realm of Cats & Dogs and Squeakquels, the Farrelly brothers' direction is downright classical. show more

I didn't laugh much. I don't think the Stooges are funny, although perhaps I might once have. Some of the sight gags were clever, but meh. The three leads did an admirable job of impersonation. I think this might be pretty much the movie Stooges fans were looking for. show more

How could the Farrellys not? It pleases me to report that the movie is far from a disaster – on a dozen or so occasions, it's even funny. show more

The result, which could be entitled There's Something About Curly, is an unabashedly moronic celebration of slap shtick. show more

I\'m glad I saw this at home, because I laugh so hard that I had to step out of room, the family had to pause the movie 3 times so I won\'t miss the movie. I only feel it had a weak ending. The actors were great. A must have for my collections...

The actors playing the Stooges are a-1 hits Sasso as Curly is dead on, and Sean Hayes as Larry is Great, xome of the other additional supporting character are weak. But overall the funniest movie I had seen in 20 years. 5 stars for lead 3 actors and 2 stars for support cast. Overall 4 stars.

I thought these guys nailed it! I was very impressed. Of course it was silly, and definitely not Oscar material, but these guys had the characters and timing so well down... it was difficult to tell the difference between these actors and the originals. On top of everything else, however.. the movie (just like all Stooges shorts) was charming and definitely had \'heart\'. I give it 8 out of 10 stars.

Mildly funny...I was looking forward to this cuz I am such a Stooges fan, but this definitely left me wanting. Probably not even a DVD rental or purchase & that totally bums me out ;-(
