  • This remake achieves an Avengers-like balance of cheeky wit amid the cheesiness. show more

  • Despite a few missteps, there's much to recommend. show more

  • Like so much British science fiction, especially Douglas Adams's "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series, this "Doctor Who" has a goofy, homemade quality; it's less interested in gizmos than in characters. show more

Doctor Who is my favorite show from BBC. The series really picks up pace once David Tennant takes over. My favorite doctor is Matt Smith. The writing and acting are both excellent.
