Rules may be meant to be broken. In "Paper Towns" actor Austin Abrams' Hollywood experience, it would be wise to ignore them all together.

"I would say it comes down to just sort of doing what you feel is right and truly not listening to anyone," the 18-year-old tells Made in Hollywood Teen. "There are no rules in what you’re doing."

Abrams plays Ben Starling in the film version of John Green's hit young adult novel, which centers around Quentin (Nat Wolff), who sets out on a mission with his friends to find the girl next door Margo (Cara Delevingne) who mysteriously goes missing. In the film, Ben finds himself falling for Lacey (Halston Sage), who is another member of the crew on the hunt for Margo.

Sage praises the Florida native, telling Made in Hollywood, “Austin’s really good at camouflaging himself into his character, which is something I think everyone on set really respected and learned from.”

Abrams, who also had notable roles in “Gangster Squad” and “The Kings of Summer,” has a multi-episode arc on “The Walking Dead.” He will next be seen in “The Greens Are Gone,” co-starring Anton Yelchin, Riley Keough, Maya Rudolph, Justin Chatwin and Molly Shannon, in theaters later this year.
