The upcoming reboot of "Spider-Man" will feature other Marvel characters, because ... well, duh! If you're going to include him in the shared Marvel Cinematic Universe, might as well double down.

As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Entertainment Weekly, "He is in the universe now, and the fun of the universe is that characters go back and forth."

This couldn't have happened had Sony and Marvel not come to a deal to co-produce the reboot. That led to the introduction of Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in "Captain America: Civil War," which opens May 6.

The standalone "Spider-Man" movie isn't due in theaters until July 2017, but we can start speculating now about which characters might show up in the film. An obvious choice would be Iron Man, as Tony Stark serves as a sort of mentor to young Peter Parker. And Holland performed his screen tests with Robert Downey, Jr. But making a deal with Downey for the movie might prove difficult. Same goes with Chris Evans, who plays Captain America (and happens to live in New York City, too, like Spider-Man).

Which Marvel characters do you think could cross over?
