"American Horror Story" has already been renewed for Season 8 and 9, but let's not forget that we still have Season 7 to enjoy before then.

When the next installment of the anthology horror series arrives, it will bring back some of fans' favorite faces. Both Sarah Paulson -- fresh off her 2017 Golden Globe win -- and Evan Peters have signed on to return, creator Ryan Murphy revealed at a TCA event Thursday. He wouldn't share any details about their roles, Variety reports, so news of their returns will have to be enough for now.

The two actors have been on "American Horror Story" since the beginning, taking on different roles as the story has changed. Several other actors have remained involved for multiple seasons as well, including Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, and more. We wouldn't be surprised to see more "AHS" vets join them in Season 7.

Murphy is again keeping the show's secrets, just like he did with Season 6 and its fake themes. All the creator would reveal was that the seventh season will be "a modern-day story." That doesn't narrow the possibilities enough to do any guessing. Sigh.

We'll have to try to be patient till "American Horror Story" Season 7 premieres.
