"Lady Bird" just got its wings clipped.

The coming-of-age tale written and directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan had become the best-reviewed movie on Rotten Tomatoes. After 196 reviews, it still maintained an 100 percent fresh rating, surpassing "Toy Story 2."

Now, that's been ruined ... thanks to one dude named Cole Smithey. He posted a review on his website this weekend that give "Lady Bird" a B-minus. That brought its Rotten Tomatoes rating down to 99 percent.

Smithey declared "Lady Bird" was "far from perfect" and added, "There are dozens of coming-of-age films that far outweigh this lightweight contender."

(It should be noted he gave both "Wonder Woman" and "Dunkirk" an F, so that should tell you something.)

"Lady Bird" may not have its 100 percent rating anymore, but it's still flying high — it just received four Golden Globe nominations yesterday.
