As much as "Game of Thrones" has given us, there is still more from creator George R.R. Martin coming.

The novelist's latest adapted series, "Nightflyers," is headed to Syfy this fall, so the network released the first trailer Tuesday. It features chilling scenes from the show, plus insight from Martin, director of photography Marcus Forderer, supervising producer Sean Ryerson, and actor Phillip Rhys (Murphy). The key players contributed unique commentary, but they all seemed to agree on one point: that it is "epic."

Martin described the adaptation of the 1987 movie "Nightflyers" -- which is itself an adaptation of his 1980 novella and 1985 short story collection of the same name -- as "a haunted house story on a starship." Meanwhile Forderer took it further, saying the show is "like nothing you've seen before." Ryerson's addition may have been the best, though: He summed it up as "just f--king awesome."

The trailer certainly looks promising. It shows a large-scale project with action and suspense that will get your adrenaline pumping. Watch below.

The series stars Rhys, Gretchen Mol, Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Brian F. O'Byrne.
