Famed Canadian ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir can say they're not a couple all they want, but fans -- including Ellen DeGeneres -- aren't hearing them.

The three-time Olympic gold medalists appeared on the March 20 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and per usual, they had to address the relationship rumors that inevitably follow their steamy on-ice performances. They were the talk of Twitter during the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, with people all over the world insisting after seeing them skate that they're a real-life couple.

In response to a fan campaign on social media, DeGeneres invited Virtue and Moir on her show and tried to dig into the romance rumors. However, in spite of her many pointed questions, the two figure skaters insisted that they're "definitely not dating." After listening to what they had to say, DeGeneres still took away what all of their die-hard fans did: "So, you're a couple."

Virtue and Moir might have tried to sink the ship, but based on the response on Twitter, we'd say it is still floating, and even thriving.

To be honest, we're still not totally convinced they're not dating, either.
