"13 Reasons Why" gave us -- and painfully took away -- Katherine Langford as Hannah Baker. Now, however, the Australian actress is set to return to Netflix.

Langford has been cast in the upcoming series "Cursed," THR reports. She'll have a starring role as Nimue in what is described as a coming-of-age story. The series is based on Tom Wheeler's upcoming book of the same name, which is illustrated by Frank Miller. Both Wheeler and Miller are executive producing.

"Cursed" tells a new version of the legend of King Arthur from the perspective of Nimue, according to Deadline. The teen character is destined to become the Lady of the Lake, an enchantress who plays an important role in certain King Arthur stories. In this one, she'll confront destruction, war, and more.

As you can imagine, Langford is thrilled about her latest role. The actress shared a screenshot of the THR report about her casting via Instagram and added an enthusiastic message.

"So excited to finally announce this!" she wrote. "A total dream being asked to lead this series with such legendary creatives. Can’t wait to start."

This is Langford's first TV role since "13 Reasons Why." Her character was a key figure in the first two seasons, but sadly for fans, Hannah is not coming back in Season 3. Furthermore, her "Cursed" character is described as "tragic," a term that definitely also applies to Hannah Baker. We're getting more of Langford, but that probably also means more tears.

"Cursed" is also being executive produced by Zetna Fuentes ("How to Get Away With Murder"). She'll also direct the first two episodes.

So far, Netflix hasn't announced when "Cursed" will premiere, but rest assured that you'll see more of Langford soon.
