The first trailer for "Stuber" teams up Kumail Nanjiani and Dave Bautista in an action comedy set in a Uber car.
Nanjiani plays a mild-mannered driver named Stu who picks up Bautista's extremely tense LAPD officer, who orders Stu to take him to Compton to follow the trail of a brutal killer. The journey thrusts Stu into some extremely dangerous situations, risking his life, his leased car, and his five-star rating.
Nanjiani is quippy and witty as usual, while Bautista displays a similar "big brute who can be funny" thing he's got going on as Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy."
"Stuber" opens in theaters July 12.
