Alvaro Calderón Sr. Biography
Alvaro Calderón Sr. (Abde) was a Spanish actor and writer who performed in theater plays, television shows and independent films in Mexico. He was born on January 29, 1937 and passed away on March 15, 2019. Best known for starring in "Yo Soy Nestor" (2017) and "El Taco en México" (2006). He has acted in countless shorts and features including: "Rinoplasticos II" (2006), "Heroes del Destino" (2014) and "Valentina" (2006).
He published two books, the first being "Se Hace Poesía al Andar", which includes a collection of poetry and scripts for theater plays. His second book, "Detras de tus Ojos Verdes", was written in collaboration with his daughter Mayte Calderón Grobet. It details the life of his mother, his father and his childhood.
