Freddie Mason Biography

Freddie Mason is a British stunt performer, registered with the prestigious British Stunt Register since around 1999 and classified as a "Key Stunt Performer" with Health & Safety Level 3 qualifications. He stands approximately 5'9″ with hazel eyes and has developed a diverse physical profile, including measurements such as a 40″ chest, a 33″ waist, and an 8 UK shoe size.

He began his professional journey after earning a BTEC National Diploma in performing arts, which laid the foundation for over 25 years of experience in live-action stunt shows, theatre, film, and television across the UK and internationally. Mason's skill set is broad and includes fight choreography, firearms handling, high falls (including over 20 m), air ram launches, car knockdowns, stair falls, waterfalls, trampette work, knockdown driving, basic horse riding, gymnastics, rock climbing, 10 m dives, PADI Divemaster certification, complete burn work, acting, rigging, and jerk back.

Throughout his career, he has accrued an extensive list of credits on high-profile projects. These include major film franchises such as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, multiple Fantastic Beasts instalments (Where to Find Them, The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Secrets of Dumbledore), Jurassic World Dominion, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Zack Snyder's Justice League, and The Old Guard.

On television, he has worked on Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Andor, Masters of the Air, The Flash and many others. Beyond ensemble stunt work, Mason has also worked as an assistant stunt coordinator, contributing to splinter-unit sequences on Beetlejuice 2 and mocap additional photography on Snow White. In addition, he has frequently served as a double for well-known actors: matching Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice 2, Alex Hassell in Locked In, Simon Pegg in Slaughterhouse Rulez, Rafael Casal in season 2 of Loki, and both Richard Harrington and Joe Cole in Gangs of London.

Mason's reputation for reliability, strong performance, and versatility is built on his years of experience in live-action stunt shows, film, and television.
