Plot Summary

New York land baron Alfredo Martino (Eduardo Ciannelli) has started burning down his own buildings and cashing in on the insurance, but he needs a fall guy. He finds the perfect target in Gabe Ryan (Frankie Thomas), a nice kid with a troubled past and a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Gabe's big sister, Joy (Ann Sheridan), then teams up with her brother's ragtag juvenile hall pals (The Dead End Kids) and lawyer, Pat Remson (Ronald Reagan), to clear the boy's name.
