Stan Zuray, star of Discovery Channel's Yukon Men, decided to leave Boston to escape a life of crime and drug abuse. He found his way to the remote interior of Alaska. This documentary follows Stan through his day-to-day activities, showcasing a beautiful yet brutal relationship with nature and how that gave him control of his life. Along the way, we learn the important lesson that pursuing what gives you purpose and meaning is the path to happiness. Yet Stan is not a solitary figure. He gives back to the community reaching out to the Alaskan youths to give them an alternative to drugs and wasting their lives.
