Plot Summary
Hollywood producer Duncan DeGrasse (John Barrymore) is preparing for the debut of his anti-Nazi film titled "The Earth is in Flames." To gain attention for it, his press agents devise a series of publicity exploits for the Washington, D.C., premiere. One of these plots involves hiring fake spies to make the audience believe they will be in danger, thus increasing the suspense on opening night. Little does Duncan know, the spies -- two Germans and an Italian -- have their own sinister plans.
