Noomi Rapace. Rooney Mara. Now Claire Foy.

Author Stieg Larsson's iconic character, Lisbeth Salander, is returning to the big screen again in "The Girl in the Spider's Web."

"The Crown" queen Claire Foy transformed for her role as Lisbeth, following in the footsteps of the three Swedish films starring Noomi Rapace; and then David Fincher's "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

This reboot is said to pick up with Lisbeth Salander (Foy) and Swedish journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Sverrir Gudnason) years after the events of "Dragon Tattoo."

The first trailer was kept intentionally mysterious, director and co-writer Fede Alvarez told EW, because people are always complaining when the trailer gives away the whole movie. But people are always complaining in general, so you can rarely win.
