Call it Hurricane Zombie. That's what the survivors of "Fear the Walking Dead" will face when Season 4B returns to AMC in August.

At Comic-Con in San Diego, AMC debuted the trailer for the second half of the season, which was rocked by controversy over star Kim Dickens' unexpected (and unasked for) exit from the show in June's Season 4A finale.

The trailer gives us glimpses of Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Morgan Jones (Lennie James), Luciana (Danay García),John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt), Althea (Maggie Grace), and June (Jenna Elfman) as they battle a raging storm and the raging undead.

Season 4 has already brought a number of major changes to the show. Original cast member Frank Dillane's Nick Clark was also killed off in episode 3 upon the actor's request. Then, Dickens' Madison Clark, ostensibly the lead of the show, was killed off. But in this case, Dickens disagreed with the storytelling choice. and a backlash ensued among fans.

Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg defended their decision, saying, "A lot of the back half of the season will be about, 'How do we exist together? Who are we to each other? What do we do going forward? How do we carry on what Madison lived for? How do we maintain hope in this often bleak world?' There's a lot of things these people will be wrestling with. Those are stories that we're excited to tell, and we're really looking forward to hearing the audience's reaction when we do tell them."

"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 4B premieres August 12 on AMC.
